Digital station stamp app “Ekitag” debuts to commemorate Sanriku Railway’s 40th anniversary!
As Sanriku Railway Co., Ltd. celebrates its 40th anniversary on April 1, 2024, it will begin operating and providing digital stamps using the station stamp app "Ekitag" operated by JR East Planning Co., Ltd.

◆Digital station stamp usage start date
From January 1, 2024 (Monday/Holiday)
*Along with the debut, the “Sanriku Railway 40th Anniversary Campaign” will also be held at the same time.
Limited period from January 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025
◆Station stamp installation location (in the waiting room of Sanriku Railway 11 stations)
Mori Station, Kamaishi Station, Otsuchi Station, Rikuchu Yamada Station, Miyako Station, Iwaizumi-Komoto Station, Shimagoe Station,
Tanohata Station, Fudai Station, Rikuchu Noda Station, Kuji Station *Design stamps with motifs of local tourist attractions, etc.
◆Limited stamp distribution (automatic distribution)
By collecting stamps from 11 stations within the period, you will receive a stamp as proof of conquering the 11 station stamps.
"Sanriku Railway 40th Anniversary Limited Stamp" will be automatically distributed.

(1) Download the smartphone app “Ekitag” (2) Launch the app and tap “Touch” (3) Hold it over the app mark at the station stamp installation location (4) “Digital Station” (5) You can collect station stamps in the in-app stamp book.
