Kitasanriku High School, where Aki-chan attends to in the drama, was shot at Taneichi High School in Hirono town. In a setting where kitasanriku High School is located at Kuji High School, scenes of students going to school by bicycle were shot on the road that Kuji High School students were using. The marine development department at Taneichi High School is the only one in Japan teaching basic knowledge and techniques of diving and civil engineering.
